Creating a Lakehouse Shortcut in Microsoft Fabric

Create a New Workspace

  1. Log in into Microsoft Fabric.
  2. Navigate to Home.
  3. Click on + New Workspace, provide a Name and click Apply.

Create a New Lakehouse

  1. In your newly created workspace, click on New Item > Lakehouse.
  1. Provide a Name for your lakehouse and click Create.

Add a Shortcut to Space and Time Data

  1. In the newly created lakehouse, click New shortcut.
  1. Click on "Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2".
  1. Select Create new connection.
  1. Choose the appropiate Connection setting and credentials base on the blockchain you wish to set up.
  1. Set URL: to:
https://sxtindexedchaindatawus2.dfs.core.windows.net/bitcoin
  1. Provide a Connection name.
  2. Select "Shared Access Signature (SAS)" as Authentication kind.
  3. Set SAS token to:

  1. Click Next.
  1. Select the top level folder for the desire blockchain and all its tables and then click Next.
  1. Finally, click on Create.
  1. Now, you should be able to see the desired blockchain date under the Tables folder
